WordPress Workshop Outline

1. [Day 1] How to earn as a Internet Entrepreneur: We will walk through various ways you can earn money using your site / blog. We will also discuss how different people can benefit from different revenue models.
2. [Day 1] Website Registration: We will go through the steps required for ALL website creation such as getting a domain name, a hosting provider and a payment agent. Acquiring this knowledge allows you to create other sites in future. All trainees must have their credit cards or PayPal account accessible for the registration.
3. [Day 1 & 2] WordPress Installation and Hands-On: The main focal point of the workshop where we work on the installation and the practical hands-on usage of this platform. Be delighted! As we assured you, no programming knowledge is required here in this practical module!
4. [Day 2] Extending WordPress Capabilities: After setting up the WordPress platform, learn to extend the capabilities using plugins, themes and widgets to suit your individual needs here.
5. [Day 2] Marketing Basics: There is no point in creating a website without a marketing strategy.
   This last module teaches you some interesting ideas how you can attract traffic from more than 5 free sources.
6. [BONUS] PayPal Integration – How to collect payment using PayPal.

*You can attend the first day workshop at 7pm if you are able to register the domain name and web hosting following our online videos walk-through. If not, the first hour (6pm to 7pm) of the workshop will be used to help you register the accounts.

How to register for this WordPress Workshop?

You need to agree to the following terms before you can register for this upcoming workshop (subject to availability).

1. Please note there is a S$35 refundable registration fee needed. We will return you this registration fee at end of the workshop. Please note: This fee will not be refundable if you do not turn up for the workshop you registered.
2. Please make sure to bring your laptop (must be able to connect to wireless Internet network) to this workshop. Alternatively, you can bring along your own wireless Internet connection source. You can bring Mac book (instead of a windows laptop or netbook) for this workshop as well.
3. You must host your website with us for a minimum period of 1 year (S$10 per month). Our hosting plan gives you 1GB Diskspace and 5GB monthly bandwidth. You can host up to 99 websites with this single hosting account.
